Home Start Cover.

The policy will cover you at your home. If your car won’t start in the morning, call the assistance line and a mechanic will attend to your vehicle. If he can’t get it going quickly the car will be towed to either the nearest garage or a garage of your choice within a reasonable distance to be repaired. In the event of an Accident.

You’ve had an accident and need to know what to do. In the first instance make sure that everyone in the vehicles is ok. If emergency services are needed give them a call first. (Ambulance, fire and police - Call 112) Complete the accident report form (this is the triplicate blue, pink and yellow form with your Liberty Seguros insurance policy documents) don’t admit any liability, ensure that the form is filled in correctly and that are no falsehoods and make sure that the other driver has confirmed and signed the form. We recommend that in the event of any accident, that you do call the local police. This ensures that the driver of the other vehicle will have their documents checked and you will have a full record of the event.

Give a copy of the completed accident report/claim form to the other driver and keep the original for the insurance company. Call the Liberty Seguros Insurance Car Breakdown Assistance number to ask for a tow truck to take your vehicle to a garage. This is all included in your insurance policy. Once at the garage, the assessment and repairs will start to be carried out. If you choose to use a Liberty Seguros approved garage for your vehicle repairs it will be quicker and they should arrange the hire car for you, so you’re not left stranded. Whilst all this is going on, the Liberty Seguros claims department will be dealing with the insurance company for the other driver.

If your car has broken down and will be in the garage for more than 7 days you can request a replacement vehicle.
